No. Most garden machinery can be used without a licence. We do recommend reading the user manual for each item so it is operated safely and correctly, and our team is always on hand if you need guidance.
Electric strimmers suit smaller gardens: they are lighter and quieter but need a power cord or battery. Petrol strimmers are better for larger spaces or areas away from a power source, with more cutting power for thicker growth.
Yes. Plenty of jobs need a mower and a strimmer, or a rotavator and a brush cutter together. Tell us what you are tackling and we will put a package together on one hire agreement.
Yes. Smaller items can be collected from our Truro or Launceston yard, and we deliver across Cornwall and Devon. Tell us your postcode when you enquire and we will confirm delivery options and cost.
Hire runs on daily or weekly rates, whichever suits the job. If you need a machine for longer, or you are not sure how long the work will take, give the office a call and we will work out the best rate for you.
Yes. Every machine is checked, cleaned and serviced between hires, and goes out fuelled and ready to work. If anything goes wrong while it is with you, ring the depot and we will sort it.
