From one machine to a full-service contractor
J Keane Plant Hire started with a single digger and a simple promise: turn up, work hard, and do it properly. That hasn’t changed. What has grown is the fleet, the team and the range of work we take on.
Today we hire plant and tools, supply and deliver aggregates, run our own haulage, and self-deliver groundworks for local authorities, developers and homeowners alike. In April 2026, demand from the east of Cornwall and Devon led us to open a second depot at Pennygillam Industrial Estate, Launceston, with its own office, workshop and dedicated branch team. Still run by the same family, still on the end of the phone.
